watercolor on Arches CP 300gsm paper, 14" x 10".second in the april series, heightened the color a little and enjoyed getting the fluffy texture on the sesame st. doll. unfortunately as with so many of my paintings, the photograph doesn't convey the figure modeling at all.

i don't know if you like Burt Silverman's work. he works primarily in oil paints, but he is an amazing watercolorist. his book "Breaking the Rules of Watercolor" is fantastic! if you can find a copy, i HIGHLY recommend it, and i think you would enjoy it immensely.
